Hello all!
And welcome to my first ever 'blog' post.
Allow me to introduce myself! My name is Steve and Im a 30 year old journalist based in Scotland.
I'm 6 ft 2, good looking with a great sense of humour ... oh hang on, this isn't one of those personal ads...
Anyway, a bit of my history. After finishing secondary school, I went away to University to study Biochemistry. Enjoyed that, but didn't fancy playing around with pipettes and test tubes forever, so I went for the journalism side of things. Started off as a sub-editor, before becoming a sports writer and now I'm a news reporter.
Got itchy feet a few years ago and took off to Australia and New Zealand for a couple of years travelling.
I got back about a year ago and ever since I have been staying at home with my mum and dad. To be honest, I think I got all my ambition out of my system when I was away and now I'm pretty happy satying at home! It's not ideal for taking the ladies back, but it's cheap!
Anyway I hope to share some of my thoughts with you on this blog (if anyone actually ever reads this p*sh!). And in so doing, you can share in the rollercoaster that is 'the life of a 30 year old mummy's boy'!!! Catch you soon.

I think I give them far too much of a hard time. But they never complain!!

Greetings:
I lived at home till I was 28, only child, no father... if it were not for that incident with the Honda 900 engine on the kitchen table - I would probably still be there!
44 and in Canada now - they call bonnets hoods and wings fenders... but the petrol is cheaper and the weather is better... but I still miss Mum's cooking.
... wonder if the smell of oil has gone out of the table yet... ho hum.
Cousin Madness.
Hi Steve,
I have just discovered this blogging.
I like your "Saddo who doesn't really want to grow up", But I hope you do grow up, but don't ever grow old!
I have a 36 year old daughter, who, like you, is at home, so please spare a thought for your parents and don't give them too hard a time!
